Don’t waste time styling out outfits that don’t work. Your outfits in your wardrobe should perfectly caress your body or be an outfit that take you back to a happy memory. It should make you look good and feel confidence. We control the way people perceive us by the way we dress. You are what you wear, if it’s not flattering don’t buy it.

Let’s start looking at the basic female body shapes. The ‘ideal body shape’ is subjective. Dressing up is more than highlighting your amazing body. There are 5 basic body shapes, each with their own characteristics.

Hour glass

This body shape has almost proportional hip and bust line. The waist line is well-defined.

This body shape is a slight variation to the hour glass. The waist is well-defined, with weight distributed around the bottom and legs.

Straight

This body shape is not particularly curvy with little or no waist definition. The body tends to look straight.

Triangle

This body shape is a slight variation to the hour glass. The waist is well-defined, with weight distributed around the bottom and legs.

Inverted-Triangle

This body shape has broader shoulders and narrower hips. The waist is not necessary curvy.
